Manage your password, sessions, and account closure

Passwords

Use a strong, unique password for Scripter (12+ characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols). Don't reuse a password from another service, and consider using a password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, browser-native managers).

To change your password, go to Account → Security, enter your current password, then your new one.

Scripter will never ask for your password. Don't share it, including with support staff.

Sessions

Scripter keeps you signed in for up to 7 days of inactivity. Changing your password signs out all active sessions immediately. Always sign out on shared or public computers.

Two-factor authentication

Coming in Phase 2.

If your account is compromised

  1. Reset your password using Forgot Password? on the login page.
  2. Review recent prescriptions and profile changes for anything you didn't make.
  3. Email info@scripter.au with what you noticed and when.
  4. If you reused this password elsewhere, change it on those services too.

Account Closure

You can delete your account from Account → Security → Delete account. Self-initiated deletion has a 30-day grace period before it takes effect, and logging back in during that window cancels it.

Once deletion takes effect, your personal profile information and verification documents are removed. Prescription records are retained in line with Australian veterinary record-keeping requirements (see the Privacy Policy), with prescriber details anonymized once that period ends.

If you stop using Scripter without deleting your account, we may close it on your behalf after an extended period of inactivity. Logging in keeps the account active.

Account Recovery

Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password? on the login page and follow the email link. If you can't access the email on file, contact info@scripter.au from a contact method we have on record.
